I feel like carnations get a bad rep! Carnations always used to remind me of middle school Valentine’s Day- anyone else? But, I realized when I mixed them with other flowers (like lillies), they instantly look feminine and fancy! My favorite carnations to use are light pink. They are fluffy and pink and cost much less than a peony or garden rose. Leave the stems long and place them in milk jars; one or two in each jar. These “milk jars” are actually Starbucks Frappachino bottles that I cleaned up (just use rubbing alcohol to remove the labels and then run through the dishwasher). I think this specific display would look great at a bridal luncheon, baby shower, or a brunch with your besties!
