A Garden Party

Here is the backyard luncheon I threw for my bridal party and mothers! The theme all stemmed from this gorgeous harvest table. I was visiting the A Party Apart showroom, looking for blush and gold wedding decor, and of course got side-tracked. In the corner of the showroom was a large farm table with a burlap runner and vases of wildflowers- Right then and there, I wanted to change our wedding and have the reception in a barn! Obviously this was not feasible, but I knew I just had to use that table. I had a large number of people coming to my bridal party luncheon and realized one large table with benches was the perfect seating solution. So, I threw a backyard garden party! I decided to keep the decor simple and shabby-chic. My grandmother’s china coordinated perfectly with mason jar vases and the rustic farm table. We all wore floral crowns and sipped on lemonade and iced-tea. It was a sweet and relaxing gathering to have before the wedding chaos began!
